Barangay Montpeller

Barangay Montpeller is located in the mountainous part of Alegria town, part of Cebu province, in the eastern part of the city from the heart of the town, at a distance of 6-8 kilometers. The arrival of this barangay from the town by motorbike and jeepney travel every Friday. Adjacent to this Barangay are Barangay Lepanto in the Eastern part, and Barangay Guadalupe in the North side and Barangay Legaspi and Barangay Poblacion in the Western part.

Barangay Montpeller covers 25,000 hectares – 75% slopes and 25% flat. The major part of it for Agriculture – 80% and the 20% Forestal. The soil type is rocky and compulsive. Barangay has an elevation of 500 M-800 meters from the sea
