Barangay Legaspi

Barangay Legaspi is located at the coastal part of Alegria, Cebu. It is bounded on the North by Barangay Poblacion; on the South by the Municipality of Malabuyoc; on the west by the tañon Strait and on the east is bounded by Barangay Montpeller. One of the most highest and challenging peak in Cebu which is Mt. Lanaya is located at this barangay. Mt. Lanaya has a height of 720 ft. below sea level. It has been visited by several mountaineers already and most of them had rated the climb all the way through the kalo-kalo peak of Mt. Lanaya as its difficult 7/9. In that it will approximately reach 3-5 hours of trek depending on how fast you trek. On the way up and on the Kalo-Kalo peak is a breathtaking and a jaw dropping  over looking view of Osmeña Peak from the north, Mt. Kanlaon from the northwest in Negros Island, and Mt. Talinis located at the south of Negros and the tañon Strait
